Baroda Dairy has taken a significant step toward sustainable energy management by integrating solar power into its operations.
As a District Co-operative Dairy manufacturing dairy products for the region, Baroda Dairy continues to focus on operational efficiency, responsible resource management and environmental sustainability.
Its solar power initiative a 9,000 kW captive ground-mounted plant spread across 27 acres in Village Alhadpura, Taluka Bodeli, District Chhotaudepur, generates 1,48,50,000 units of clean energy annually, saving the dairy approximately ₹10.80 Crore per year in electricity costs, with total projected savings of nearly ₹259.1 Crore over 25 years.
